It's funny I was just thinking about you, and the wonderful level of service that you provided for us!  I have referred you to 3 of our friends so far.  I do hope they contact you....you were a big part of making our trip so wonderful! 

The hospital adventure was amazing.  The staff truly treats you as if you are a guest.  We found out that the things we were worrying about are not an issue and on the other hand we found out some new things that we need to work on...so all in all it was very worthwhile. 

We met some wonderful new friends at Atsumi and again gained some new information that we will be incorporating into our lifestyle.  (It was much easier than I thought it would be. :) 

And of course the Mangosteen was an excellent place for us to stay during all this.. we made good use of the pool that's for sure. 

We managed to get to the Green Man a few times...had excellent food and a good fun ... and of course mentioned you to Howard. 

Some of our favourite things were the elephant rides and the Chinese junk sailing adventure.

 I'm enclosing a photo that Denny made of our vacation, thanks again for being a big part of it!!!

Eye Surgery

First, I could hardly be happier. The service that I have received from Dr. Captain and his crew at the Bangkok Phuket Hospital, has been second to none. The initial testing was thorough and discussions between myself and the surgeon comprehensive. All procedures were explained clearly to me and I was given every opportunity to ask questions. All of the staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. I was always confident that I was in good hands. The surgeon found a lesion in the retina of my left eye and this was corrected with laser surgery at the same time.

The operations went well and I returned a week later to confirm that everything was healing well and the operations had been successful. Just over a month from that date I returned again for more extensive testing. My right eye was just about perfect but my left eye was 0.75 dioptre out - but I had been told that the surgery wasn't exact and I expect to have this corrected at a later date using LASIK surgery. 

While conducting the tests the surgeon found a tear in the retina of my right eye - something he hadn't been able to see before due to the bad cataract in that eye. He performed laser surgery on the eye to correct it and I have to return on the 28th of this month for further tests.

I will return to see him again in December for further testing and at that stage may have LASIK surgery performed to correct the slight error in my left eye.

The treatment and care that I have received have been excellent and I would recommend it to anyone requiring corrective eye surgery.

I recently underwent the CEO health screening at your hospital in Bangkok and am writing to express how impressed I was with both your staff and the facilities of your hospital. I found your staff to be very courteous, polite, friendly, helpful and professional – I could not have asked for a better service, it surpasses anything I have experienced here in the Uk or anywhere else I have travelled.

I would particularly like to thank the nurse (apologies as I have forgotten her name but I believe it may have been nurse Khom) who was made available to me to guide me through the testing and accompany me to the various departments, she was extremely helpful in answering my questions and she even tried to have my glasses fixed after I had dropped them – an excellent service.

I would also like to thank Darren at Health Vision Asia who was extremely helpful in co-ordinating my visit and obtaining answers to my numerous questions.

I will, and have done so already, highly recommend your hospital and its services to my friends and family, and my wife and I will be attending your hospital again in 3 years time for our next health check up.

Cosmetic Surgery

You were a great asset in my choice of hospitals and Doctors.  You are a people person with exceptional skills and kindness.  

I was telling my husband a couple nights ago, that I needed to contact you and let you know how pleased I am with my surgery!   I have re-gained all my strength and I can now stretch up to the ceiling without any pains.  The incisions are healing nicely but the one on my lower jaw is still a little visible but subsiding.  There was virtually not much bruising and the swelling has gone down tremendously. 

I was very nervous prior to my surgery but I’m thrilled I made this decision and that Dr. Witoon was my surgeon he did excellent work.   

I will forward pictures in the near future.

Lasik

First of all I would like to say that I was very happy with the care that I received at the hospital. It was very professional and friendly!.

My appointment went very well, but not as I had planned! The Lasik specialist advised me that I was a good candidate for Lasik surgery, in particular monocular Lasik correction. However, during the course of the examination the Lasik doctor discovered that I had retina damage (a result of my high myopia), and referred me to the retina specialist, so I ended up receiving laser surgery for my retina damage. Following this I was advised that I could go ahead with the lasik surgery, but unfortunately I did not have enough time left in Phuket.
I am now back in Perth, if  I return this year or the one after, which I hope to do. I am not sure when I will return to Phuket for the procedure. However, I will contact you again as soon as I am able to return.
