Overview
Orthopaedic medicine focuses on the diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation and prevention of injuries and diseases of the musculoskeletal system. This complex system includes your bones, joints, ligaments, tendons, muscles and nerves.

Hip Replacement Package
(5 -6 days : US$10,000)

The Package Includes :

Operating Room Fees : OR Room Use, Recovery Room, Scrub & Circulate Nurse
Medical Equipment and medical supplies necessary for the procedure
Medications : routine medication used for the procedure
Doctor Fees
Rehabilitation and physical therapy
Head and shoulder or feet massage
The Package Excludes :

Other charges not related to the procedures
Charges for other procedure's
Charges for OPD charges incurred prior to the surgery and after surgery
Additional items such as telephone charges, extra meals etc.
Treatment process

Day one :

Pre-operation test
Meeting with doctor
Complimentary head and shoulder or foot massage.
 

Day two :

Hip Replacement Surgery
 

Third day :

Follow up from doctor
Start of physical therapy (to be continued everyday during admission to hospital)
 

Fifth day :

Final follow-up
Plan for discharge
Day of discharge :

Final follow-up before discharging from the hospital
The total hospital stay should be about 5-6 days

Patient Eligibility :

The package is applicable for elective, uncomplicated patients. Patients with the following conditions are considered to be complex or high risk cases and will not qualify for the package:

Blood or bleeding disorders
Patients with underlying medical conditions such as HIV, uncontrolled diabetes etc.
Notice :

The cost of treatment is estimated at 10,000US$ which includes the hospital accommodation, operating room charges, doctor's and anesthetist's and physiotherapist's fees, nursing and room services and meals.
The patient is expected to stay in the hospital for 5 days. Following surgery a full course of physiotherapy will be administrated during admission.

Knee Replacement Package

(Case 5 -6 days : US$10,000)

The Package Includes :

Other charges not related to the procedures
Charges for other procedure's
Charges for OPD charges incurred prior to the surgery and after surgery
Additional items such as telephone charges, extra meals etc.
